Hi, I'm on my 2nd attempt at potty training DS who is 3.3. First attempt at 2.9 a disaster. This has been better, if I put him on the potty regularly he will wee, poo on potty, and will occasionally ask to do poo on potty. However, he never ever tells us he needs a wee. he will wee in pants and then tell us (straight away). Same story at nursery. He is quite into the whole thing, very pleased with himself when he wees on potty etc, so it's making me think he still doesn't recognize the sensation of when he needs to go.
We are about 10 days in how, and still no progress in this regard. I feel at this age I really need to persist, can anyone tell me how long it took their DCs to recognize this sensation?
