Now what?!? Pooing whenever in a pull-up

Not long ago I posted under the name GruffaloShoes about my daughter and her steadfast refusal to use the toilet under her own steam.

First of all, a GINORMOUS thank you to the person who pointed me to googling 'toilet refusal' !! She is now reliably telling me she needs the toilet and going by herself .

Decorum is keeping this bit polite. If I wrote what I was thinking there would be an expletive between every word ! As it is I am grinding my teeth and muttering to myself!! The child is now pooing whenever she has a pull-up on... She wears one to bed and for naps. Every single fucking time. Currently she is upstairs cleaning up (spreading it around) while I fume. It's like she's getting her own back for submitting during the day.

Any ideas? Would it be worth just leaving her out of pull-ups completely? Except I can't see her actually getting out if bed regardless and at least a nappy contains it to a degree.

She's going to be 4 soon and this bloody carry on is REALLY taking its toll. Oh and she won't take herself off to the toilet at play groups/nursery she would rather just lay on the floor jiggling and rolling around.

I'm ready to strangle her. Any advice would be MASSIVELY appreciated. It could very well save her.

I found a good information sheet on the ERIC website all to do with moving a child on from pooing in a nappy to pooing in a toilet. I'll see if I can find it and put a link on here. Hang on.....

Thanks Littlefish... I'll have a read. She is happy to poo in the toilet though. That wasn't clear in my original post.

How often does she nap? is it still every day? I think I would be tempted to leave the nappy off at nap time initially, with the bed made up with plastic sheet, ordinary sheet, plastic sheet, ordinary sheet, so that if she poos in the bed, you can just quickly remove the top sheet and plastic sheet to reveal a ready-made bed underneath.

Is her nappy wet in the morning or after naps, or just pokey?

Pokey ? Sometimes wet. But I strongly suspect that she pees just before getting up as it is always lovely and warm ! Especially in the mornings... I KNOW she pees in her nappy just before getting out of bed rather than getting up and going straight to the toilet. My days it's infuriating!!

She does not nap every day... Closer to every second/third day.
