DD is 2.7 and has been using the potty at home on and off for a couple of months. We try to go nappy free at home but don't always and if she is wearing pants or trousers and no nappy often wets herself. With nothing on most wees are on the potty. She did a couple of poos in her potty about a month ago but nothing since and seems to hold them for when she has a nappy on.

is it time to just go for it and expect there will be many accidents/some issues with poo or do we continue as we are for a bit? Worry I am being a bit lazy in that I want to avoid the mess and the stress of going out potty free...

I think it's time to use nappies when sleeping only, you will have to do it at some point.
