regression - what's going on?

Dd1 has been dry for 2 months now. She's 2.4. She wears a nappy for nap and bedtime though but has been asking for the toilet to wee and poo and has been doing so with no problem.

For a week now all of a sudden she's started pooing in her nappy when she sleeps and today at nursery has had an accident - her first in almost 6 weeks.

Is there a reason for this regression?

This happened to us a few weeks ago. I persevered but eventually took her to docs. She also had a UTI. She is still on antibiotics but back to dry again.

drama did she start using the toilet to poo again once the antibiotics kicked in?

Yes, both back to normal in a few days.
She is so delighted with herself now!

Oh good hopefully dd will be back to her old self soon. So glad the regression was down to something simple and treatable - I was getting worried.
