Anyone out there with a DS who pottytrained before their DD?

I really would like to pottytrain DS before he is three and goes to pre-school. But DD was very late, wasn't until she was 3+ before she got it. I know boys train usually are slower than girls but did anyone experience the opposite? Help, looking for positive stories! :)

yes, dd trained by 2½years and ds was day trained by 2years as he showed signs of being ready.

Yes both ds1&2 were done before they were 2yrs old and dd was 2yr 7mths.

Ds1 was nearly 3, ds2 was only just turned 2, dd is 2.7 and not near ready yet!

Ive not had a girl but ds1 was 22 month s, ds2 2.6 and ds3 2.4.

My ds (dc2) was a piece of cake and potty trained day and night at 2 years 3 months, my dd (dc1) arghhhhh! 3 years 4 months and only pooed in her pants for 12 whole long months after that. Wasn't night trained til almost 7! Dd2 (dc3) is 3 years 4 months and still not trained - keep giving up - is impossible !!!

My girls were so much worse that my son. 2 months off having ds2 - would imagine he'll be potty trained before dd2!

Haha extra stories! sorry you have had woes but it gives me some hope I'll get DS done before he's three. :) Many thanks.

My DM is a childminder who has my dd (2.3) and a little boy (2.1) and they are both potty training together atm and if anything he is picking it up better than dd is.
