Is potty training different for a boy????

For a start if he tries to wee his muscles seem to lift his aim above the edge of the potty is there a particular way to sit him?

We have accidentally stumped into trying and I'm so not prepared!

he (or you) need to push his willy downwards while he pees. We got on better by ds standing and me holding the potty up under his willy rather than him sitting down to pee.

Ok, so basically even sitting down it needs pointing in the right direction. Thanks
