DD is just 2 and has been showing signs of being ready, so I thought I'd give her a try.

She hasn't managed once. I know we're only half a day in but just want to catch her once.

She seems to be too absorbed in her activities and playing with her cousins to remember.

Should I wait a bit longer or give up for a while longer?

Tbh I would wait a little longer, if she's not interested in the potty then your only putting pressure on yourself. Just leave the potty out in clear view and may be at each nappy change, say to her you can go wees in the potty if you want and leave it at that for now. My son uses his to store his play blocks in :-/)

Thanks Leigh I've left it for now, maybe try again in the summer. I remember DS1 putting chips in his (thankfully I found them before he ate them!)

I should wait for spring/summer, will be much easier then. U can have her at home and in the garden with just some knickers or shorts on
