3 year old scared of potty!

my daughter turned 3 in January and is still in nappies and hates it when she doesn't have one on. she is scared of going near the potty or the toilet or if you mention it and she runs away crying and hides. both me and her nursery have tried everything. nursery have said she has sat on potty twice with clothes on but we cant even get her to do that. rewards don't work coz she has figured out what they are for. I don't no what else to try and im getting worried now that she going to go to school still in nappies! any ideas?!

Don't panic, you have nearly 2 years before she starts school! I'd leave it until the summer when you can spend lots of time outside and get clothes dry quickly if she has an accident. In the meantime why not get some storybooks about using the potty e.g. I Want My Potty! (Little Princess), On My Potty etc.

I no its nearly 2 years but coz I need to get her registered in September it seems closer. we are hoping where she had moved to pre school room at nursery she might copy her friends and use the potty but I just want to get her over her fear of the potty. I will have a look for some books thanks :)
