Ds has done the odd wee.... And one poo this week on the potty.
He has only just started to reply to my toilet talk and questions.
But.... Now I ask him "do you need a poo?" And I get "no you did it" ... And other types of replies.
He hates the potty, and wants to wear a nappy. He is undecided on whether he wants to be a baby or a big boy, so bribing him and encouragement that way isn't working.
Tbh, he can be abit of a terror, screams and tantrums very easily...
This week he did a poo, like I said but only because he was on the iPad, and screaming... So I think it fell out haha.
Any tips please?
My other first was done at 18 months, but ds2 at age 3.3

Hi
You might want to take a look at my post the one under yours.

I'm taking the gentle approach with my boy, he is a little slow for his age but looks older than 3.5 and still sleeps in his cot and loves his bottle, so not really doing any pt to date, thinking if he likes the messy feeling in his nappies what's the point, I'm just going with it for now.

Does your son want to keep his nappies on after it's been wet/soiled Like mine ? Or is he happy to let you change it with out putting up a fight, if not then you could start a reward program, star cart etc that's a good start so I have heard, then progress from there, mine on the other hand just loves !! His squishy time to much when in a pooey nappy..LOL... So rewards haven't work out, but hopefully before long it will, but I'm in no rush.

Leigh
Mum to DS and still loves sleeping in his cot.
Addicted to cloth nappies.

Dd is 3 and i am taking it slow. Very anti potty, couldn't careless about poo in nappy.

This week we have been doing nappies when we go out, knickers at home and the odd sweet for sitting and trying

No wees or poos yet but less screaming

Hi!
He says it's yucky and that he smells like a dog poo hahaha, but doesn't like baby wipes, as they are cold, so would rather sit in it. He has regressed recently, after going 6 months without a bottle, he keeps asking for one... I think this is because his dad is back on the scene. But he sleeps in a bunk bed and is happy about that.
He is tiny for his age, but is cheeky and knows right from wrong, just doesn't care either way lol.
He has sit on it this morning, although hated it, while I sat next to him talking about big boys going to Thomas land... But he was relieved, very much, to get off :(
