I would say pants and keep pull ups for sleeps. I find they tend to just use pull ups like a nappy.

is it ok to send him to nursery in pants with loads of spare clothes if were doing ok still by fri?

they always say they will help when we start but not sure if they mean this early on

For potty training pants are best, but if you are taking him out or in the car ext the pull ups are really useful. My ds is 6 and when I PT him I used pants however when we go on a long car trip or on a flight he wares a pull up and its normally ends up full. He is also still in nappies at night X

they sell training pants in mothercare. we used them when we went to an all day thing at a church the other day.

otherwise we've been bare bottom at home and just trousers or sometimes trousers and pants out.

bit the bullet so to speak. I think pull ups must be confusing.
