Is this a fluke, or..

Can't believe this as it seems too good to be true. DS is 22 months and suddenly yesterday and today seems to have 'got' potty training. We have a potty that belongs to his older sister that she no longer uses, it's just in the bathroom. He was wandering about nappyless and we asked him if he wanted to use the potty not thinking he would be able to. He said he needed a pee and stood over the potty and peed in it.

Throughout the day, and again today, we asked him continually if he needed to pee. He either said No or Yes at which point he would go and get the potty and pee in it. Only one accident. Does this sound like a fluke? I have older dcs and none of them were potty trained fully till at least 2.5 so I don't want to let myself believe there might be a nappyfree light at the end of the tunnel this soon....

This is exactly how my dd2 poppy trained at 2 years old.

It was ridiculously easy!!!

I had my anti bac spray and rubber gloves at the ready, but needed neither!!!

She still wears pj pants at seven and a half though. Think this is hormonal though so am not worried.

Ah well I will live in hope! Would be so brilliant to get him out of nappies.
