Potty recommendations for tall 2.8 year old girl

My 2.8 year old DD is very tall for her age (98 centile), so could anyone recommend a potty that will be comfortable for her to use?

I think I'm also going to get a toilet seat insert so she's got the option of going in the potty or the toilet.

Thank you.

My DD is of a similar height. She only used potties for a few weeks before using toilets. I bought potties from the pound shop.

If she'll have it, I'd try and just get her straight onto the toilet. I've had a hell of a time getting my ds to use the toilet since he was so used to going on the potty.
In the end I got one of those step and seat combined things so he can climb up himself (he got nervous with me picking him up and 'backing' him onto the swirling whirling chasm of doom toilet). The potty has gone to the "Poor Boys Home" Grin

Straight to the toilet Smile

We barely used a potty with either of mine. If they are ready to PT, they should be able to hold it long enough to get to a toilet.

Hmm, maybe straight to the toilet will be best (to be honest, I've always struggled to get my head around how the transition from potty to toilet works!)

Is there a portable toilet insert available so we could take that out with us?

You can also buy a 3 part toilet seat (we got ours from Amazon) that has an additional children's seat built in which Dd accepted quite easily :)

My dd is also v tall. We got a baby bjorn one (expensive for a potty). She started using the toilet within a few weeks, but it's in her room now for night time wees so still worthwhile getting it.

I bought baby bjorn potty chair for mine- it did take up quite a bit of space but they enjoyed using it as it was comfy! In fact at the beginning of potty training I'd sometimes put a waterproof mat on lounge floor, potty chair on top & put the telly on! Worked a treat
