Argh ? advice please ladies!
DTs are 2.1. They have known for a while if they have done / are doing a poo ? they generally go and hide in a corner and come out smelly! Yesterday DT1 took her nappy off in bed, did a poo and then screamed for daddy that she had done a poo in bed. If they are having time out of nappies they know when they have done a wee but don?t seem to know that it?s happening.
DH decided they are ready to train (while I was at work and with no discussion about it) so got the potties out of the loft. They love them. Took their nappies off and yesterday evening managed two wees in the potty each and DT2 weed on the carpet once.
Do you think they are ready to train? I?m inclined to think the wees in the potties yesterday were fluke because they just happened to be playing with them.
I?m not mentally ready for this ? I was aiming for next year. So wise mners ? do you think they could be ready?
