My DD is 2.1 been showing signs for a while so thought today was the day to start. Going Ok so far, as many wee's on the floor as the potty but she did do a poo on the potty this afternoon which was great!
Just not sure if she's ready? Lots of wee's next to the potty just after she's got off it. Only first day I surpose!

I am on day 5 ds is 2.4. today is our first accident free day. Day 1 was good days 2/3/4 were awful. I was ready to quit but he seemed to figure it out last night. I just need to get him wearing pant and trousers round the house...

We are on day one with dd 2.5 we have had 2.5 wees in the potty but both full wees without taking her trousers off so going to put her in a skirt. Last two wees she has taken herself off to the potty so some improvement. Tonnes better than when we tried two months ago.

She did much better late afternoon, even took herself off to the potty and did a wee! Still lots of little wee's is this normal when you start potty training?

I started DD today (this is attempt number 3!). Lots of little wees which she got very excited about and spent an hour on and off the potty this morning. She was getting quite annoyed when she couldn't do anymore. Lots of praise and attention today, a few accidents but fingers crossed she might have finally got it! I have had DD wearing dresses all day which has helped, hopefully tomorrow she will keep her pants on instead of running round the house with them in her hands. Maybe she is enjoying the freedom of being nappy free.

We have started well so far today first wee half off the potty then she took herself across and finished still needs help with pants up and down. Then we have had poo on the potty! Which she took herself across to the potty to do, though I had been asking her to sit on it a fee minutes earlier as I knew she was going to poo. Fingers xed it carrys on this way.

I'm not sure about lots of little wees I think (by the amount of washing I have) dd did between 8-10 wees yesterday at a guess.

I started yesterday with dd 2 2.7. We have tried before, but she didn't even notice if she'd peed or not. Yesterday I ended half and half. As many accidents as successes, though an accident was a poo in her knickersSad
no accidents yet today, but we're only an hour and a half through. I am so anxious about this as her nursery want her trained before she goes back in sept. I'm sure I was just as stressed with dd 1 but it's one of those intense phases that are easily forgotten because I can't even remember potty training her unless it was so bad I've subconsciously blocked it outWink

How is everyone doing?

We had an interesting day today. We had a wee on the potty first thing all by herself no prompting. Then it all went down hill potty refusal and lots of poo's on the carpet, though the last one was on the way to the potty. I went out for a couple of hours leaving dd with dp and she waited until I got home to wee and poo (not on the potty). I am hoping what I have read about day 2+3 not being good is the case with dd.

I think it's varying. At the end of the day they are individuals, every one will be different. Yesterday dd refused to use the potty if I asked/offered, leading to accidents and her pooing in the garden. Today I eased off and the stubborn mule has been great. One accident and that was excitement more than anything. So, I'm not giving up, but nor do I see any consistency. Thank God it's not cold is all I can take from it allSmile
