So, 2.5 DD's been dry at home now for a week and is doing so well. Only a few little accidents but thus far we've put a nappy on her for going out. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and go for it today though - she has a little book group at the library this afternoon, which is only 45 mins and it's a pretty small group.

Any tips? I'll bring her travel potty and a change of clothes and will of course make sure she goes on her potty before we leave. Is there anything else? I'm quite excited! What a loser... ha. xx

Good luck! I still use pull ups when out with ds as don't want there to be a mess in the library / car / swing etc. but he's reliably dry when out.

Just go for it! Good luck - we're potty training at the moment too and an accident when you're out is not the end of the world.

Thanks Beenie, yeah I just don't really see the point in delaying it. She tells me when she's about to go (sometimes with more notice than other times Hmm.

I reckon zap it while she's still obsessed with her new knickers/the travel potty/washing her hands etc.

I'll have to report back with my library horror story. Shock

Thanks MissPiggy - yep, I've already visualised it. There is a toilet there that I can whip her too if needs be.
