Hi my dd is 2.5 yo and has shown an interest in the potty for a good few months now but I have held off potty training because we were away last week and thought it might be easier after our hols. We started yesterday, straight into knickers, she was very excited at wearing knickers and yesterday am went really well with only 1 accident but in the afternoon she didn't wee on the potty once and we had 6 accidents. This morning we have had 2 accidents so far with 1 successful potty. Is this normal? She doesn't want to put nappies on and cried last night when she had to wear one for bed. I am a bit of a worrier when it comes to teaching new things in case I cause her unnecessary worry.
