Wee wee standing up but worried about potty training

My boy is 2.5 and has a wee standing up, he doesn't really like sitting on a potty so daddy showed him how to do it. We haven't started potty training yet but he will wee if we ask.

I am just confused about how to move forward with the pooh side as we haven't caught one of them yet.
Any advice would be great.

I would start by seeing if your son has a regular time of day when he moves his bowels. If he does, you can probably detect a pattern in his behaviour. DD2 has a "poo face" when I can tell she is starting a bowel movement, if you can identify this you may be able to prompt visits to the loo/potty. Additionally, DD2 gets very stinky wind as things start to move.....

Once he start to get the idea he may ask for the toilet.
