Sad my daughter was clean and dry for months and in the last 3 weeks she started wetting herself the last week she's pooed in either her trousers or on the floor. When asked why she says I dunno. we've tried talking to her, rewarding her when she goes to the toilet. punishing her when she messes. I don't know anymore. please help.

No advice but we are having the exact same problem apart from the poo bit. My DD was dry from 2.2 very very rarely had accidents- now at 3.2 and a big sister to a 16 wk old she just wets herself all the time and has done for about 11 weeks, I've had enough!!!

its frustrating isn't it.

How old is she?

Sometimes constipation causes this, ic they have compacted pooh it pushes against the bladder, and the soft pooh just passes through.

she's 3 and 2 months was cleann dry from 2 yrs.

dry and clean all day yesterday then today she's weed twice and pooed. I've put her in pullups but told her to go to the toilet anyway. Sad I know not great but I just can't do anymore.

I don't think it's a problem putting her in pullups, but i would really look into whether she's constipated, it is incredibly common, but not always recognised.

LuckySalem · 17/05/2013 19:03

how would I know if she's constipated?

Hi, that has happened to my little boy twice.
both times, i have motivated him offering him a candy PEZZ of his preferred cartoon...also..i have also made him watch the potty training app learning with the animals, ...which he loved!.... that 2 thing made the trick to make him back in matter of 1-2 days!!
hope this helps you a little beat!

How many of you have recently had a baby? This happened to my DB's son, who started what amounted to a dirty protest about four weeks into his new brother appearing in his life.

I have no idea if this is an actual 'thing' but it seemed to follow.
