Behaviour when potty training

Trying to pt my almost 3 yr old DS. Slow progress......anyway he seems very emotional, up and down, more 'naughty' than usual. It's because we are potty training isn't it?

Going to keep going as we have started.

We've just started with our daughter. She is 2.7 and she is doing really well (since Friday!) but she is definitely more emotional and grumpy. I have also put it down to the training as nothing else had changed.
Oh well she'll adjust!
