Potty training and 2.5 year old losing his temper!

I have just completed 10 days of potty training. My son is doing very well and we have only had a couple of accidents. THe problem is he has started losing his temper for no reason. We never had these issues before, and i am wondering if it is coincidental? I have been sitting him on the step and counting to 10 until he calms down which seems to be working.
Anyone else have these issues? I am hoping it is just a phase

DS2 on third day of potty training and has been really wired and regressing. I imagine it's just the change in routine. Have things settles down with your little boy?

Have you handed over some responsibility to DC to decide when to use the potty? We've recently potty trained and I found lo regressing after 7-10days, I decided to step back and let him get on with it without pestering him all the time and it immediately started to improve. We had a couple of accidents and still do but his attitude is much improved and surprise, surprise so has mine . Good luck!
