DS not weed for over 3 hours

started potty training today and DS 2.10 is in pants since 9.20am when he got dressed. I've been asking him if he wants to wee every 15 mins or so but its been no and no. Got him to sit on the potty about an hour ago and he's now sitting on it again watching team umizoomi but nothing and its now 12.44. He's not drank an awful lot this morning but has had a drink. Is this normal?

My DS had a bladder of steel and could not wee all morning at pre-school but don't take your eyes off your son now!!!

IME yes, but every child is different. My DS can go several hours without a wee; I have friends whose DS's seem to need to go every five minutes (I know what I prefer!).
So long as the potty is nearby so that once he decides he does need it he can reach it quickly, he will be fine'

well not a great success, i went up to loo and he came up with me and when i finished said he wanted to go but had already done some in his pants. Not loads, just enough to wet pants and trousers but no puddle on floor. Sat him on child loo seat for a while and ran tap but no more came. Then went and had lunch, near end he said he wanted to poo and then noticed he had done a wee in his pants. Still not loads but more this time to have a little puddle on floor. He's now sitting on potty again watching TV.

At 1.11 my DD could hang on for 6h. Good luck though, potty training is rubbish!
