25 months takes nappy off at night

25 month old DS2 has started to take his nappy off in bed. He does it 2-3 times a night and I am getting fed up of putting it back on. He usually wets the bed when its off... He even puts his PJs back on after removing nappy and flings nappy out of cot!

I don't think he's really ready for potty training but I could be wrong. DS1 didn't train until quite late - 3.5 and still not dry at night...

Has anyone else had the night time thing? He always tells me "no nappy" even though I have explained to him about the wet bed etc. If he wets after I've checked him (midnight ish) then he doesn't wake until morning despite being soaked! It doesn't seem to bother him! When I try to remove the wet PJs he battles with me not to! :s

Offer a chocolate button in morning if he keeps it on all night?
Ask him if he'd like and use a potty in the room?

Will try chocolate button - thank you!
He is still in a cot so no use putting potty in his room for now...

All in ones to sleep in?

If he's that sure about no nappy, is he communicative enough that you could explain that that means he needs to use the potty?

Oh the extra tip I heard was all in ones, backwards (they'd have to be footless) so they can't undo the zip.

I heard duct tape is good - the nappy to itself I add, not to the baby. :-) Then the onesie on top.

Chocolate button was a failure but will persevere!

Will investigate duct tape!!!
