DD is 2.3.

She keeps taking her nappy off and throwing it away because she says it's wet.

She'll do it every 20 mins if I can't stop her.

This morning I got up and she'd changed her nappy twice in the night.

This is going to cost me a fortune.

Do I try to potty train her? She sits on a potty or the toilet and nothing EVER happens.

I used duct tape to keep it on until ds got over nappy pulling off phase. unless she's ready for pt, then go for it!

I trained my DS because when he was dirty he would present the soiled nappy to me! It worked like a dream for us, so you might be lucky, although she is quite young still at 2.3.

But i would say that it took a good 4 days for him to get the handle of peeing on the potty and rather than ask him if he WANTED to go, we told him it was TIME to wee. He could last every 1 1/2 - 2 hours and we set a special potty alarm each time which he liked.

You could always try and abort of it doesn't work in a day or two! Good luck whatever you decide.
