Potty training when in full time work: advice please?

I work full time (though average about 2 days from home), have just started potty training dd (2). Finding it really hard to find time - apart from at weekends - to coax her onto the pot. She is beginning to understand the principle of peering in the pot although there are more misses than hits, but has yet to do a poo after 3 weeks. The thing is I am lucky if I have time to get her onto the pot after her breakfast/milk, she is at the childminder most of the day, when sge gets back its usually straight to bed. Childminder is persevering but not much progress yet. Does anyone else have any experience if this? Do I just have to accept it will be slower? What can I do to maximise my chances?

I'm no expert but are you sure she's ready to train? After a few weeks I'd expect more hits than misses rather than the other way around

I don't know if yours is ready or not, but I potty trained my DS1 (then 2.3yo) while on holidays at my parents. I didn't even attempt starting potty training during FT working days... It took no more than one week. We came back from holidays fully potty trained, which I did not expect to happen so quickly.
Now my DS2 is 2.3yo, there are no holidays in sight and his nursery is pushing me to start potty training. I have no idea how I will do it!
My only advice would be, try to tackle it very straighforward - once you start underpants, no going back to pull-ups or nappies during daytime. Good luck!
