"lifting" : how to break the cycle?

I've been "lifting" DD around bedtime +2 hours, which has been great way to get her through without bed-wetting. She is nearly 5. How do you break the routine though?

Just stop doing it.

The only time I lift now is if DS has drunk a lot before bedtime or we are going to be getting up late the next day.

That sounds sensible. I'll give that a try!

You could gradually lift earlier and earlier each evening until it turns into a bedtime wee while she's still awake.

Another good idea. Thankyou so much.
