Are those terry towelling lined plastic pants any good for potty training? If so, what ones would anybody recommend? My mil takes the view that DC are either in nappies or not at all and there is no half way house.

They are good in that they will catch tiny bits of wee -but not a full on wee if you see what I mean. We had some totsbots ones that DS1 and DS2 used.

Am planning on putting my LO in them. He's been in 'sposie nappies and doesn't appear to know when he is weeing. One aborted attempt at PT when he just weed all over his pants and the floor several times having failed to go into the potty. My other idea was normal pants inside a nappy so he feels wet when he wees. I know you can get toilet training nappies but he really is not bothered that a picture changes colour (v odd idea). We have the Bambino Mio ones, used them a bit for my first child for car travel etc when he was PT.
