pooing interfering with settling for nap for 16mo - does anyone else have this?!

Will post this in sleep too and see who replies!

DD1, 16mo, has always been a nap avoider! She does 1 nap a day, this used to be before lunch and last 1 1/2 hours. Recently, she seems to still be going strong at lunch time, so I have transitioned to putting her down after lunch (otherwise she ends up not having lunch at 3ish). So I put her down at 12.30 - 1ish. She sings, talks to her teddies, arses around. I go in a few mins later and she has done a poo. So I change her, leave her, cue more faffing around and she then doesn't settle until 2 - 2.30ish and only sleeps for 30mins ish and is shattered until bedtime.

Anyone got any thoughts? All ideas gratefully received!!

If you know she's going to do a poo then I'd try putting her on a potty before her sleep.
