We started potty training DS who is 2.7yo a week and a bit ago, he was really happy to do it at first, first day got a pee in the potty, cue sweeties and cheering all round. Next few days maybe one pee in the potty, by last Weds he was asking to go, got 3 out of 4 in that day. Since then rapidly downhill, we have had nothing in the potty in about 3 days.

He's no4 so not a PFB. He has just stood next to 2 flaming potties and pooed and peed. He'll say "nevermind next time in the potty, not on the floor. Aww wet pants. Pee pees in the potty etc etc".

I don't want to put nappies back on him as I'll have to just go through this all again. But argh!!!!!!!!!!!

No useful advice but just to let you know I feel your pain! Sounds exactly like my DS. Although as we are spending Christmas at in-laws decided to go back to pull ups as would be worried the whole time we were there about finding suspicious puddles & Christmas logs! but think it was a Bad idea! He's just pulling them down and weeing & pooing wherever he feels like it anyway.

Oh know.

I've always been hard core once the nappys off its off, cold turkey. You wild think by no 4 I would know what I'm doing by now. DD2 & 3 were so easy, got it in days. I remember DD2 telling me 2 weeks after she was dry in the day that she wasn't wearing pull ups at night anymore either and she never did.

This ones a boy though. I caught a poo in the potty tonight, made a it fuss of flushing it away etc. bet he's back to peeing everywhere tomorrow again.
