What to do now?

DS2 is 19 months old. He does not speak yet (this is relevant because I don't think he'd be able to tell me he needs the toilet if we potty train).

However, over the past 2 weeks, he has either fetched his change mat from where it is kept or sat on it if it has been left out, on 3 occasions. Each time, he has had a pooey nappy and, this morning, it was clearly very recent as still warm (sorry if TMI!)

So, my question is what to do now? Should I retrieve the potty from the loft? Try pull-ups (he is a squirmer during nappy changes)? Something else?

This is quite new to me as DS1 was about 2.6 when we started training, & this was largely us putting him on the potty at regular intervals (worked very quickly, dry day within a week & night within a month). He was also fairly verbal so able to say when he needed to go.

I would get the potty back out and in a visible place and see what happens.
