Wetting self for attention

My son has started wetting himself on purpose when I'm having cuddles with my other son. It's the only time he wets himself. I know I'm not helping because I have to get up and turn my attention to him to clean him up. Anybody else had this problem and how did you solve it - HV suggested ignoring him but how can you do that when he'll be sat in soaking wet pants on sofa etc. At my wits end because it's also having knock on effect with my other son cos he then gets jealous that I get up to attend to my other son and I feel guilty and torn in two.

you get him changed with the minimal of fuss, don't talk to him, let him put his own clean clothes on and go back to cuddling DS2

jealousy is sooo hard but it does get easier

Hi bubble, we're going through this with DD 3.2 at the moment. Has ignoring your DS worked? please say yes, I'm sick of my house smelling of wee!
