Still not pooing in potty.

DS is 3.6yo and has been weeing successfully on the potty since early December - with very few accidents. He hasn't however, done so well with poos. He has managed it in the potty about 3 times and we made a huge fuss of him, but he's never carried it on. He will go into another room and ask to be left alone and he will poo in his pants, even though there is a potty there. We have mostly tried not to make a big deal of it and have tried to make it fun with things like stickers, different Potties, poo goes to Pooland, and have even tried to bribe him with his favourite treat. But nothing. I am really worried that he now sees pooing in his pants as the norm and wondered what else I could do. Friends say it will just click and it will happen, but after 8 months, it doesn't feel that way. Grateful for any views.
