Im starting to potty train my DD (2.6) we have had one pee on the couch and one in the potty so far. I'm quite pleased!

I have a reward chart and she is getting stars for trying on potty, washing hands after etc

Fingers crossed!

Don't forget to reward yourself at the end of the day for keeping your sanity!

Thanks for the reply :) she has done amazingly well.

Day 1 first pee was on the couch and rest in potty
Day 2 one pee accident but only cos her doll was using potty first! Poo done on potty as well
Day 3 no accidents at all and another poo in the potty with no hassle at all!

I'm so proud!! She even used the potty while I was out of the room, I told her she didn't need to wait on mummy or daddy and that if she needed to go while we weren't there just to go herself and she did! DH was so proud!

Oh dear biscuit has it been that bad? How old is your dd/ds? DD has had another two accident free days...I am in shock!

Day 3 and 4 are going much better. DD is 2.6 as well.

She has had less accidents when I left her without clothes. Maybe she thought the pants were just thin nappies.

Well done little izzie. Sounds like she's got it sussed.

You are giving me hope Riskitforabiscuit. We started yesterday afternoon and all was going well. Today was an utter disaster! Hoping for a better day tomorrow :)

Good luck to your DD too. Well done Izzy's DD :)

im on day one too ds seems to pee everywhere other than the potty.

please tell me it gets easier.

oooh we're on day 4. Its going well except he likes putting his potty on his head, so I gave him a bucket to put on his head, and then he weed in the bucket which would have been fine if it hadn't had a hole in the bottom! Later on he weed in the potty and then put it on his head! Today the potty wasn't in view so he weed in the back of hid toy dumper truck and then brought it over to show me.

We're on our second week. DS is 2.5 and has decided to copy Daddy ans wee standing up Hmm No accidents days 3-5 but the weekend was a disaster. Casualties were several pairs of pants and shorts, a sofa, a car seat, a cream carpet and a dress (mine). I have learned:

  1. The Maxi Cosi Priori XP is a pig to clean and even more of a pig to try to put back together after taking the cover off.
  2. I should probably wash the cover more often. It took three soap/rinse handwashes before the water ran clear and it left a sediment line around the bath Blush
  3. Pampers disposable changing mats make excellent car seat liners.

Excellent improvisation with the dumper truck feature wall!

we have had lots of wee's everywhere but a few on the potty too so its not too bad. no poos yet though
