Hi All, potty trained C at 3 (3 months ago) and after 1 week 100% success & no probs. Now she has just started wetting her pants (soiled once) predominantly with me not childminder or dad.
I'm convinced it's about attention - they're not accidents. Very upsetting as it feels like she's trying to control me - so if she is doing it deliberately not sure how 'staying calm & praising etc when does it right' angle will work? Any advice gratefully received? I've shed some tears over it, both Hubby & I are at a loss to know what to do and I'm terrified of handling it wrongly and making things worse Xxx

Maybe just without much fuss, dress her in pull up pants on days when she's with you just for now, while she's going through this phase with you. I know it sounds like strange advice but this sort of approach worked for me. It chilled me out, took all the heat out of the situation and I just went back to pants about a week or so later. I had a few times when I had to do this (eg whenever DS1 was ill, he'd lose control of his bowels). I'm still trying to get DS2 (3.3) to reliably use the loo. They crack it once they're at school (if not before) so all the blood, sweat and tears feels all for nothing when you look back on it.

Good luck and I'm sure other people will come along with other solutions. I just felt the relaxed approach worked best for me (because before that, I got it all wrong - WHY have you done it AGAIN DS!?? ARGHHHHH etc etc)
