Poo issues!

We have been doing this a couple of weeks now. Ds is 2.9 and is doing brilliantly. He pretty much always asks for a wee and we only have accidents at CM.

But he doesn't seem to know he is pooing until it is too late. He has done some on potty, if I see him starting and move fast. But we have had a few accidents. He is upset by it, even though I don't make a big deal, say it doesn't matter its just an accident etc.

Is this normal? Is there anything I can do?

bumping for my DS too. Same story - couple of weeks in and doing great on the weeing. But pooing a different story.

Is it just a matter of time before they recognise the feeling?

And me! Weeing going really well, after 10 days training, but poos not so much. He used to do two a day, but is now withholding it for two days at a time. I know he's desperate, but he refuses to poo on the potty, or in a nappy! So then he has accidents in his pants, and gets really upset.

His needing a poo means he asks for the potty literally every five minutes, sits on it, squeezes out a tiny bit of wee, or nothing, then gets up again. He insists I accompany him every time, and it's driving me MAD.
