I've been working with DS for several weeks now on this, he is going to be 12 weeks on Thursday. He has done all of his poos on the last 24 hours on his small potty.

He is a champion pooer, so this is 5 in 24 hours. He has done quite a few wees in his potty too.

Hi Laf77. I did it with my two boys, now 5 and 2. My 5 year old was clean / dry at about 2 and a half, so not a lot earlier than his peers but with most poos in the potty from about 1 or so. My (just) 2 year old is considered 'dry' by nursery. They take him every hour or so and there are only accidents every other day or so. There is a really good website called bornready with lots of useful info.

I did more early introduction of toilet vs hardcore ec-ing but ds1 was potty trained day by 22mths and night as well by 24mths. I think he would have been earlier if I had been more dedicated at it but it worked really well for us. Ds2 is 15mo and now signs to do a poo and will wait to be given the potty. He is doing lots of wees on the potty and is delighted with himself standing up and clapping after each one Smile though he doesn't anticipate wees yet, I just offer several times a day and he usually goes whenever offered.
