For all mums out there whose LO took ages to poo in the toilet. I'm interested to hear how you dealt with it on a daily basis. Did you just ignore it all and clean up or did you keep reminding them about using the toilet.
I'm tt DS now for over 9 weeks and he has done some poos in the toilet but mostly in his pants. I have started a reward chart now and I have started to give him chocolate buttons for using toilet and having a clean pants (which is for wees only so far). But he is so smart and he knows well he has clean pants when he wees.

We are also reading "Poo goes to pooland" story which he likes.

I cleaned it up but kept saying it would be better if you went in the potty as we don't have to stop playing to clean everything up. It was sooooo frustrating but she got there in the end after about 3 months ....Smile

Thanks for your reply.

He did a poo in the toilet yesterday after a struggle, I was exhausted after!

Then this evening I knew he looked like he wanted to go so I brought him to the toilet and he did another poo! :o He didnt look as afraid this evening.

First time two in a row. Fingers crossed he might just start now.
