Wiping Boys

I have toilet trained my 2 girls before and am starting to get DS to sit on the potty at bedtime. He will regularly do a teaspoon of wee in the potty - now for the silly question - if they wee in the potty do you give them a piece of toilet roll to wipe afterwards?

DH tells me boys/men don't wipe when they wee standing so why teach him to wipe sitting on the potty if as he gets older he doesn't wipe when he starts standing?

I taught my DS1 to shake it , DS2 who is currently learning (sitting first) likes to throw a piece of toilet roll down after each sitting session (whether anything happens or not), he doesn't really wipe.

some men do wipe - dh does sometimes and ds (5) sometimes does too (doesnt like the feel of drips on his pants if he just shakes dry)
