2y6m crys when put on potty

Please help. My 2y6m old daughter. Doesn't like the potty and crys if you put her on it. Bought a trainer seat for big toilet doesn't like that either. I'm stuck and don't no what to do please help.

I'd just leave it till she's older. Nappies or pull ups are fine. Try again at a later date or wait for her to show more of an interest.

Thanks for the reply but I can't leave it she has super sensitive skin and gets nappy rash so bad it bleeds and nobody can figure out why we have had her in steroid cream for 6 months now and the doctors won't give more. Really need her to be out of nappies.

Ah ok I see. Maybe some of the associations are there with the stinging feeling and her getting upset? perhaps distractions are the way to go - trying in front of the tv or something?

Yea she just tells me mummy no and runs away I will try the distraction thing thanks
