Pull ups?

Just wondered whether people use pull ups? Started potty training my daughter and thought they may be a good idea when we go out especially if she falls asleep! However they seem to not help as she is not aware when she is wet are there alternatives? I was having a conversation with a lady who used things that looked like panty liners.

I found pull ups were just treated as nappies so I went cold turkey into pants

Yeah thinking that may be better but I just feel bad as my mom looks after my daughter whilst I am at work just looking for what may be less stressful Sad

I thought that but then my DD seemed much better at going on the potty with my mum than me Grin

We were advised by my DS' nursery not to use pull-ups as they are so much like nappies it confuses them. Just thin cloth pants. We did introduce them to DS as special sleep pants for night time and naps, and especially on long car journeys when we knew he would sleep for a couple of hours and wet.
