Have been potty training dd (2.5), and now on day 8. Has been making progess (esp with dm and dh helping over easter). Yesterday lots of pees and poos in the potty, although 4 accidents too. This morn peed in potty first thing, then nothing for hours. I was asking all the time 'do you need the potty' with her getting more and more resistant to sitting on it. Had to go out (to buy travel potty) and was on high alert for accidents. Took her twice to toilet when out as showing signs of needing, but nothing coming, apart from tears! Got home, asked again, she refused then peed on the carpet. I wasn't screaming at her, but dd could tell I was upset. She started crying and then made herself sick. Over me. All a bit of a disaster .
How do I chill the f* out about this? Should I give it a break and go back to nappies for a bit? Or just leave her to use the potty if/ when she wants to without me nagging and take a tranquiliser?
