Pull ups still dry in the morning?

DS is 3.2 and we have been potty training for 3 weeks. Daytimes have gone really well, in pants all the time, just a couple of accidents in the house where he didnt make it to the potty in time.

We are putting him in pull ups at night. They are dry every morning. I don't want to take the pull ups away as this might be a coincidence, or he might actually be ready but I feel it's too soon.

So the question after that lot is if the pull ups are dry do I save them and put them back on him the next night or do you all just bin them?

How about trying no pull ups at night as it sounds like they are no longer needed

It sounds like he is dry at night and its time to ditch the pull ups. I found with both my children that day time accuracy got even better once they were 100% out of nappies.

I suggest that you use a cotbed duvet and a mattress protector. A cotbed duvet is far easier to wash if your child does wet the bed. It also helps to have a spare duvet with a clean duvet cover on to make changes less effort in the night. Some people make up the bed with two bottom sheets, so you have layers

one matress protector
one sheet
one matress protector
one sheet

so that if your child wets the bed at 3am all you have to do is strip off the first layer.

Good luck.

With both of mine, we waited until their night nappies had been dry for a week then took them off. Ds was 3 and dd was 23 months
