DS pulling nappy down....does this mean he's ready?

He was 2 in December and I've not really broached the whole potty training thing because we have only just given up his dummy. However, he's showing an interest in the potty and over the last few days has just taken to pulling down his nappy and trousers.

Does this mean he's wanting to potty train?

If he shows an interest, sit him on the potty and see what happens. You could put him on it after meals, with nappies on in between, and he may take the lead, or he may lose interest. But a gentle approach will get him used to what he needs to do and then when you decide to start with pants it will be familiar to him.
