Great with wees ... But poos??!

Can anyone advise or give encouragement?
DD is 2.8 and is fine with weeing - no accidents or anything for ages now.

But she just poos her pants happily! She doesnt like pooing on the potty but if you catch her she will do it on the loo (with some handholding - def a bit anxious ).

But she never tells me she needs a poo and often does it when I am out of the room!

Have promised choc buttons if she makes it too the loo but she just isn't that bothered ...

Any advice ? Am sure it will come in time ...

My dd1 2.7 was exactly the same. Bad news it latest for about 4 months in my case. Good news she suddenly told me she needed a poo and has been going in the potty ever since. In her case it was definately a time thing. Bribery made no difference. Just not sure she could tell she needed one.

We're having the same problem too with DD3, 2.9. DD1 and 2 didn't have this issue so am at a loss. Getting a bit fed up of fishing poo out of knickers!
