Does using nappy cream all the time hold babies back from potty-training? (ie they get used to always feeling a bit wet?) Or is there no relation between the two?

I've never heard of that theory.

Is there a reason you need to use nappy cream all the time? I very rarely used it with my three children, only if they had nappy rash.

i always use cream because dd gets sore otherwise, sudo crem always, metanium if its very sore. I wouldn't have thought theres a link betweek the two.

I would be surprised if the use of nappy cream made any difference.

I would only use nappy cream if your lo has nappy rash. Nappy cream is best used sparingly otherwise the nappy will not soak up the wee.

If you are feeling brave and don't mind the heating bill then having your lo bare bottomed does wonders for nappy rash.
