well i have been training DD2 aged 2.5 since begining of december. we were home over christmas and had a breakthrough. potty and toilet going all day, wearing knickers only hadn't cracked poo in potty (only will go in nappy) but was relaxed about that as i know that can take time. well today first day at preschool - so oi took her in pull ups. they said they took her to the toilet and she went. but since home i have put on her knickers and she has wet herself twice despite me telling her to use the toilet or potty repeatedly?

i am now fearing we are back to square one. should i go cold turkey and send her in knickers tommorow - although i doubt they would appreciate having to change her? its only 3.5 hour sessions.

whilst on the subject what do you do when you go outside once cracked the potty training indoors? do you use pull ups or knickers and hope for the bext / keep stopping at public toilets?

any advice appreciated - am i expecting too much

Hi,
I have a DS aged 2.5 and he's potty trained- I never put him in pull ups unless he was going for a sleep as I felt it gave him mixed messages so pants all the time and if they got wet- a clean dry pair went on. As for the nursery, don't worry about them changing DC if they have an accident, they should be happy to support you both.
Best of luck.
