He just cannot stop for long enough to actually manage to do something in the potty.

I have tried several times also last year but nothing happens. I know that if he would actually once manage to get a result he would understand what mummy is fussing about.

I have sat on my potty, read books, done this and that but he just wants to run around.

Then it's so nice to hear from other mums that their child started using potty way before 2 years age....

The only way with DD1 at about the same age was to put the tv on and let her sit on the potty in front of it. She got it very quickly from there. Have you try that?

DD2 is smaller (23 months) but definitely ready as she goes nappy free a lot and demand a nappy when needed and take it off when finished. But nothing seems to work, she is like a humming bird. She will sit on potty or toilet but as no patience at all to wait for something to happen. So waiting for other comments.
I will try to be tough and refuse the nappy soon, we just moved and I am letting that settle down first.
