A couple of weeks into potty training DS. On Friday he climbed on the coffee table, did a wee, and said "ta-dah!".

Grin oh dear... I fear we may have similar scenes in our house fairly soon...

Grin was he aiming at anything potty shaped? Coaster etc? Grin

No, hiccymapops, I can't even take that from it. Although I suppose he did clear the bits of jigsaw off the table first (so we didn't have a repeat of the "weeing into the box of bricks" incident). Grumpla - good luck!

therailwaychildren - Oh no, poor you. How has today been?

My DS doesn't seem to have got it either :-( Not interested at the moment, and don't want to push him as that NEVER works with him.

Have heard that the Little Princess I want my potty book is great with songs and so on, but is there an equivalent for boys? Think making it into something fun would be best with my DS.

Grin My ds1s greatest moment was when I found him on day one of potty training, chuckling away to himself peeing on a balloon, which was bouncing up and down with the flow . . . aaaggghhh

Sorry, sorry, was trapped in no internet land for several days. Still no further on with the wees and today he climbed onto a Wii Fit (Wee Fit?) and watered merrily. Ilovemyoboe - yes, we need a way of making DS keen to sit on the potty too. I was going to try a star chart - has anyone else given it a go?
