Posted on here before. Dd, 4.7, always has sopping wet nappies in a morning and I was beginning to despair she would be in nappies for ever. Last Friday, a dry nappy. With promise of a treat, a whole week of dry nappies. Still dry ten nights later. I appreciate I'm bragging but would love to stand on the roof and shout "shes finally dry ! " Having had a chat with her about how proud I was she said "well I didnt know where I was going to wee when I woke up so I need my nappy" Took the wind out my sails and I wonder now how long she has been 'dry' for !

Wow, congratulations! My 4yo boy is still in nappies at night but has been dry during the day for over a year. So do you think the trick is to keep waiting until you get a dry nappy?

Well done!
Gives me hope that one day my DD, 4.5 will also be dry.

Thinking maybe I should have tried her without earlier with the promise of a treat. A child thats not ready will be wet,a dry nappy would make me wonder now ! Had a wet bed this morning, had a chat and explained if she needs to go to just get up and use the loo! Sounds basic but I think she was waiting for permission- never realised ! Shes been dry in the day since two but shes a huge kid(as big as a six year old) and pyjama pants are not a route I fancied with the cost. Am realising kids have their own agenda !
