Has anyone any suggestions?
This is my third try at toilet training my 2yr 8mth old son. First attempt at Xmas, I gave up after 3 days of trying to get him to sit on the potty (he wouldn't go anywhere near it!!).
I tried again at Easter and the same thing happened.
Now third time, I am on day two, he will at least sit on the toilet - not the potty. He did manage by the end of the day yesterday to do two wees in the toilet. Today he will sit on the toilet but just does wees and poos in his pants - which he doesn't seem to mind.
I have two older children (7 and 5) that were both very easy to train.
I have tried the usual of taking him with them/me when they/I go to the toilet. Loads of praise when he does sit on! Sticker chart, "Bob the Builder pants",even chocolate buttons!
I am under pressure as he is to start playschool in Sept, and they won't take him unless he is toilet trained.
Do I persevere? Or has anyone any other suggestions?
