DD weeing upwards! Should I be concerned??

I have DTD - age 2.5 and both doing really well with their potty training. However, they are both (one more than the other) weeing upwards out of the toilet/potty. I'm getting them to sit up straight and sit right back on the seat yet the wee just seems to go upwards and out of the loo. They are not that bothered by it - we just call it 'squirty wee wees' but it's a bit of a PITA as we often have to change clothes as a result and I'm cleaning the loo after every wee. No one said it would be easy I suppose...but with these being my first girls, I just wondered....TIA!

Sitting up straight might make it worse tbh, I always got dd to lean forwards to direct it backwards.

Thanks Daisy...that's really helpful. I'll try that and see how we get on.
